George first started competitive motor sport in the mid 1980's on Night Rallies in a Mini he bought for £50 and prepared himself. A true Clubman, George prepares and maintains his cars himself, ably assisted by his friends below. Before the Peugeot, George has rallied a number of Mini's, a Austin MG Metro and a Citroen Visa GTi.

Alan has been involved in motor sport for time immemorial; being a key member of the Volkswagen Owners Club of Great Britain and more recently Membership Secretary for Streetly Motor Club. He started rallying some 35 plus years ago in and around the Home Counties. Family and frequent trips back and forth to Europe curtailed his activity. Eventually Alan stopped rallying and moved onto Classic reliability trials.

Alan was coaxed back into rallying when Erik (his son) needed a navigator for a Welsh road rally. Alan went on to properly re-start his rallying career in 2001 by  teaming up with Tomsport for stage events.

Alan can also be found as Entries Secretary to events organised by Streetly Motor Club.

Aron Brown

Starting at an early age, Aron was involved with a Junior Driving Club, where he learnt the art of car control before he was old enough to hold a UK driving license.

After servicing for a local rally team, he was fortunate to be offered the co-drivers seat on a few events. Soon after, Aron met up with George and became a regular navigator for the BTRDA championship. In 2000 Aron purchased his own car with a view to experience forest rallying from the drivers seat.

Aron can also be found on Streetly Motor Club events in the role of Chief Marshal

Cal McElhinney

A recent addition to the Tomsport family, Cal brings with him a wealth of mechanical knowledge, gained from many years of servicing on International events.

Cal can also be found as Stage Commander on events organised by Streetly Motor Club.

Andrew Mitchell

Andy joined Tomsport in 1989, after experiencing single venue stage rallying first hand with his brother-in-law in a Vauxhall Chevette HSR 2.3. The temperamental beast was sold and made way for the ex-Tomsport MG Metro. More recently, Andy has turned his skills to driving Management car for the team and the occasional outing with Aron

Lawrence Fowler

Co-founder of Tomsport, Lawrence met George in a pub after a Streetly Motor Club committee meeting, whereby George offered Lawrence the navigators seat of the Austin MG Metro. The event in the summer of 1988 was before the times of mandatory fireproof overalls, but the crew finished the event and their friendship grew from there. After a brief stint in the Citroen Visa, Lawrence surrendered the seat to Aron, and took charge of the maps in the management car with Andy.

Lawrence is Tomsports resident web master, and also provides the results service for events organised by Streetly Motor Club.
